Introduction
This report was carried out to analyse the results of the survey into how people spend their leisure time. In this survey people in the street were asked about what type of leisure activity they prefer. The results were divided into three groups according to the age of the respondents: people aged 18-25, 26-50 and people over 50 years.

People aged 18-25
The most popular leisure activity with teenagers is walking and visiting their friends. Also people of this age-group are almost the only visitors of discos and cinemas. A minority of young men would rather watch TV or play video games. In addition to this significant number of them usually prefers going in for some active sports. This indicates that young people prefer to spend their free time in an active way.

People aged 26-50
A large proportion of people of this age group prefer relaxing way of spending free time. This is illustrated by the fact that only 20% of them spend their leisure time outdoors. They prefer watching TV or visiting cinemas or theatres to doing some kind of sports or going for a walk.

People aged 51 and over
The majority of people over the age of 50 prefer spending their free time indoors. Most of them mentioned watching TV and reading books and newspapers to be their favorite leisure time activity. Only a small number of them claimed to go in for sports. Also they almost never go to cinemas and theatres.

Conclusion
In conclusion, the results of the survey show that most young men and women prefer active way of spending their free time whereas adult and aged people prefer something more relaxing.
